E. Antonio Mangubat, MD

After growing up in Frisco, Texas, Dr. Thornton received his premedical Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and received his Medical degree from the UNT Health Science Center in Fort Worth. He completed a comprehensive five-year residency in General Surgery through Michigan State University affiliated hospitals at McLaren Macomb Medical Center in Mount Clemens, Michigan, and furthermore completed a one-year fellowship in Surgical Critical Care and Trauma Surgery at internationally recognized R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, where he acquired extensive knowledge in the management and reconstruction of complex traumatic injuries.

Following a life-long creative passion, Dr. Thornton furthered his surgical expertise by completing an additional, one-year advanced fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery, accredited and recognized by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, where he gained concentrated knowledge in all major areas of aesthetic and cosmetic plastic surgery including facial plastic surgery, rhinoplasty, cosmetic breast surgery, liposuction, buttock and body contouring surgery, non-surgical aesthetics, skin care rejuvenation, and cosmetic laser medicine.

Angelo Cuzalina, MD, DDS

As one of the top cosmetic surgeons in the Tulsa, OK area, Dr. Angelo Cuzalina is board certified by three of the top surgical organizations in the U.S., including the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery, the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, and the Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. With a special interest in body contouring treatments for dramatic weight loss and complex facial aging surgeries, he has completed over 10,000 procedures for the face, body, and breasts. Dr. Cuzalina received his Bachelor of Science degree in physiology from Oklahoma State University (OSU). While at OSU, Dr. Cuzalina was inducted into the Alpha Epsilon Delta Honor Society and a bronze medalist at the World Wrestling Championships. Following his undergraduate work, Dr. Cuzalina attended Baylor College of Dentistry and received his doctor of dental surgery degree. After receiving his doctor of dental surgery degree, he attended his residency at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. During this time, he focused on cosmetic and facial reconstruction. Dr. Cuzalina is committed to the field of cosmetic surgery. He has years of experience teaching, writing articles and book chapters, and giving lectures at major cosmetic surgery conferences or events.

Teaching: Teaching has always come naturally to Dr. Cuzalina. Over the years, he developed an AACS-accredited fellowship training program. In this exclusive fellowship training program, future cosmetic surgeons receive extensive and personal training. He has also taught live American Academy of Continuing Medical Education (AACME) surgical courses. Dr. Cuzalina regularly offers live surgery workshops for cosmetic surgeons across the U.S. and internationally. Additionally, he received the opportunity to teach in Austria. Here, he taught courses on breast lifts, breast reduction, and breast implants.

Writing and Research: Dr. Cuzalina has written several major articles and book chapters for well-known publications. Ranging from facial, breast, and body treatments, Dr. Cuzalina provides his expert knowledge about various cosmetic procedures.

Angel Morales, MD, FACS

Dr. Morales joined Top Aesthetics on January 2021. He was born in Monterrey, Mexico and attended medical school at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences TecSalud ITESM. Dr. Morales completed his General Surgery training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, where he was named Intern of the Year. He has also undergone additional surgical training at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic, and completed a Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship at Marvel Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Morales is Double Board Certified in General Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery. He received the William K. Miles M.D. Award, given to the physician with the best score on the written cosmetic surgery board certification exam, from the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Morales was drawn to Cosmetic Surgery due to its unique blend of detailed anatomical knowledge, precise surgical dissection, and aesthetic vision. He takes great pride in his quest to master each surgical procedure in order to provide his patients with personalized care and the best possible results through the use of the safest and newest techniques. Jeffrey A. Swetnam, MD

Dr. Swetnam graduated from Richmond High School in Missouri with aspirations for medical school. He attended the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Medicine where he received his Bachelor of Arts and medical degrees.

He then completed an internship and residency in general surgery at the Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans. He served as chief resident there and as the acting clinical director of Charity Hospital in New Orleans. He practiced general and peripheral vascular surgery in Missouri and Tennessee for the last 20 years.





 

Arian Mowlavi, MD, FACS

Dr. Mowlavi is a board-certified plastic surgeon who is a world-renowned body sculptor and high definition body contouring expert. Dr. Mowlavi has over 20 years of surgical experience and has performed well over 15,000 procedures to date.
